Koko Preston at Bremen Library

Bremen Library parenting program

On Monday May 3 @ 6:30 pm. author Koko Preston, M.A., will discuss her book Organic Parenting: the Prevention of Parent Deficit Disorder. Preston has a master's degree in Attachment and Parenting and works with families, groups and individuals. Her philosophy of child rearing is based on her years of experience as a parent. Her book answers parents' questions about such issues as discipline, bedtime, communication, grandparents and other aspects of raising healthy happy children.
The program is free and open to the public and is part of the library's Monday Nights at the Library program series.

Bremen Library webpage

The Bremen Library now has an active web page that offers updated information about the library and a schedule of upcoming events at the Library. There is information about the Book Discussion Group,children's story times, programs, the upcoming May Plant/Book/Baked Goods sale, plus links to other community groups that may be helpful. Since December the Library has presented programs on feeding Maine birds in winter, growing roses in Maine, a program about Maine owls by the Chewonki Foundation, a talk about Rising Tide the local store and food cooperative, plus story times for children and the monthly meeting of the book discussion group.
In May there is a full schedule of events for children and parents, and on May 22 the annual plant sale will be held.
