Dr. Zaidi to speak on Pakistan earthquake relief project.

On March 13 at 7:00 P.M. the library will present a program by Dr. Rifat Zaidi about his relief work in Pakistan after the devastating earthquake of October 2005. Dr. Zaidi is an orthopedic surgeon at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta. He traveled with a medial team of four doctors and nurses to deliver supplies and medicines to the region, and to help treat the injured. He will show slides and discuss the mission to his homeland to assist the ravaged area. The program will start at 7:oo P.M. and is free and open to the public. For information call the library.
